Leaves in The Wind

The clouds were getting darker and the wind was picking up. Our small maple tree in the back yard was being whipped around. I wanted to get the leaves rustling in the wind, before I got struck by lightening. Click here to listen.

Wind Chimes

It was blustery and dark as the gray thunderheads traveled overhead. The wind chimes were gently clinking together, which occasionally hit a resonating point. These one really ring true.

Running Through Union Staircase

This particular staircase, when the doors to each floors is closed, creates near absolute silence. When there are noises, there is a cave like reverberation. Very interesting to listen to.

Eatery

It was Tuesday, the mood was relaxed. Near the end of the day and mostly everyone was grabbing a bite to eat before heading out. I took the opportunity to gather some ambient noise.

Air Through Door

On my way out of the music hall, as I stepped towards the door across from Curtin Hall, I noticed a low whistling. With the wind rushing past the door outside, the air was being drawn out from the building creating this sound.

Jazz Band

On my pass through the PSOA Music hall, I heard a

very good jazz band warming up. Beats any High School
